Dinner at Swissotel Merchant Court ~ 271008

Yest actual plan is to bring Mum to Pearl River Palace at Suntec for Asian Cuisine. Bt happen dat mum's frenz came to visit her so we changed to Plan B for dinner @ Merchant Court instead =p

We have reserved for 3pax @ 6.30pm @ Ellenborough Market Cafe. =9
Yes, tis is the place we goin to haf our dinner later on ^_^

so we took a stroll along Clarke Quay area...

it looks like '小娘惹' - little nonya style...

and the restaurant is serving International cum Peranakan buffet. mmm.... suits me as I like spicy food!!! trained to take extra spicy food since childhood by my mum, as my real grandma whch is my mother's mum (sounds complicated ya... ??? erm.. watever... ) is reali Nonya. dats y my mum loves spicy food, and nonya's name always gt a '娘'~Noi, so my mum's name is '月娘' ~ Lau Guai Noi ... mayb dats y pp always says we looks like malay... :X

okok... lets continue keke...

there is 2 stations of food in the restaurant, at first we nearly missed out another station here near the entry, whch serve some of the Nonya fav. Kueh Pieti and Chap Chye & also some Sashimi .. .

and the 'MUST EAT' speciality of the Restaurant ~Durian Paste~ whch gv me an unforgetable taste of the durian!!! (as I dun fancy of durian normally)

the carrot cake is also yummy yummy whch cook by the chef when u order ... is pipping hot!!!shiok!and the generous spread of eggs .. looks even more tempting to go for more...

Actuali got 1 green and 1 red. Emily gave me the green wan and red to Hwee Chin. Hwee Chin wana exchange when she saw the green wan on my table .. so I changed for her as I yet to start my piece of art. keke =p

After she saw my 'frame' she regretted that she change the red wan wif me, I find dat the green wan also nice nice... depends hw you decor it loh... sori coz mine is done and is so difficult to pin up by the help of Elaine.. or I dun mind to take the green wan.dun b sad lah =p
